Orders and Returns


PAYMENT

We accept most major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. All credit card transactions are processed on a secure server. Sales Tax will be added to orders where it is legally required that we collect it.

ORDER TURNAROUND TIME

Not every one of our designs is in stock all of the time. For any order placed through our website, please allow a 2-4 week lead-time until your order is ready for shipment. We try to accommodate rush orders where possible. Please contact hank@metalcraftdesign.com before placing your order if your purchase is time-sensitive.

SHIPPING

All orders will ship via best available method.

Once you place your order, you will receive an email within 72 hours confirming that your order has been received and that your credit card has been charged. It may take up to 4 weeks from receipt of your order confirmation for your items to be ready to ship. You will receive another email with tracking information once the item has shipped. We use UPS, USPS, and Fedex depending on the location we are shipping to. We ship with no signature required. If you want us to ship with a signature required you must tell us at the time of ordering.

MetalCraft Design is not responsible for your package once it is left at your door. We do not accept online orders for shipment to international addresses. Should you need to ship your items to multiple destinations, you will have to place multiple orders.

Occasionally shippers experience shipping delays. We unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges in these circumstances as they do not refund these charges to us.

We use recycled and recyclable shipping and packing materials whenever possible.

DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE

Due to the materials we use, and the care we take in packing, rarely is a piece damaged. If you do receive a damaged piece, it is important that you keep all of the original packaging and contact [our customer service department] within 5 days of receiving the item. Depending on the cause of damage, packing or shipping, and type of damage, we will work with the responsible party to compensate you.

RETURNS and EXCHANGES

Keep in mind, each of steel art pieces and home accessories is plasma-cut, hand-ground, hand-polished, hand-colored steel art and home accessories.With so many hand-applied processes, each piece is truly unique (e.g. colors, grinding patterns, etc. may vary).

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us for an exchange or online store credit or combination of both within 10 days of receiving the item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please note, there are no returns on custom-made items. Online store credits can be used either online or at any of our shows, events, or popups and will expire after 1 year.

Unless the return is a result of our error or damage in shipping, we do not credit or refund original or return shipping costs.

We reserve the right to not accept returns on any item not in its original condition or is damaged for reasons not due to our error and any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

RETURN PROCEDURE

To make a return, please email hank@metalcraftdesign.com for a return authorization form BEFORE you send back the item. Items may come from different fulfillment locations. Wait to receive the correct return address before shipping out your returned item.

MetalCraft Design is not responsible for missing packages or any damage that occurs in return shipping. We encourage you to pack and seal the merchandise safely and securely, ideally in its original packaging. We recommend using UPS or FedEx and insuring the item for its full value. At the very least, please make sure the package you return is trackable!
